Light of Mine was born from prayer; A prayer for a family member to see the true love of God through a candle I had made.

One night, as I made a candle for my brother, I felt a deep conviction. This wasn’t just wax and fragrance; this was something spiritual. I didn’t want to hand him just another candle—I wanted it to carry something more.

So, I prayed over it.

As I stood there, hands over the candle, asking God to let His presence fill my brother’s home, a scripture came to mind: Acts 19:12—how Paul’s handkerchiefs carried the anointing of God, bringing healing and deliverance to those who received them.

That moment changed everything.

I didn’t just pray over my brother’s candle—I prayed over the whole batch I was making for friends and family. I declared that they would carry the presence of God, that homes would be filled with His peace, and that light would shine even in the darkest places.

And then, the mission became clear:

Get these candles into as many homes as possible. Not just as décor, not just for the scent—but as vessels of God’s love and power.

But then came the reality check. My husband, full of wisdom, reminded me, “If you want to keep making these, they have to sustain themselves.” I wanted to give them all away, but I knew he was right. If this was truly a mission, it needed a way to continue.

So, Light of Mine was born—not just as a candle business, but as a calling.

Every candle is prayed over, sent out with purpose, and meant to bring light, healing, and faith into homes.

Because this isn’t just about candles.

It’s about carrying His presence.
